CryptoKitties: All the Zen! is a Telegram game centered around tapping, hatching, and earning rewards. To support its seasonal format, I helped designing several environments that constantly refreshed the game’s narrative. Season 4 was a particular highlight, featuring dynamic background variations tailored to specific in-game milestones such as the "Red Velvet" event shown below.
This project needed all kinds of creative support, from developing several characters for the breeding process to working on UI and app assets. It was a lot of fun to be a part of it!
A key element of this project was to reimagine the well-known fancy cats from CryptoKitties in a pixel art / retro style. This process was both unique and refreshing for the brand. It also provided me with the opportunity to create a new family of fancy cats, named L.E.E.K. (The League of Extremely Evil Kitties).
